
About Edelweiss Mutual Fund
Edelweiss Mutual Fund was registered with SEBI in 2008 and began operations in 2009. It is one of the youngest mutual fund houses in India. The fund house is managed by Edelweiss Asset Management Ltd, which is part of the Edelweiss Group, a large financial services company in India. It is a 100% subsidiary of Edelweiss Financial Services, a listed company.
The company acquired Forefront Capital in 2014 and the India business of JP Morgan AMC in 2016. It was also the first fund house in India to launch a passive debt fund, the Bharat Bond ETF. As of Mar 31, 2026, the fund house had assets under management (AUM) of ₹1,89,707 crore.
